What Orbs Look Like at 55mph

Driving home from Alpine, Arizona it’s finally dark enough to open the window and take some flash photos hoping for orbs.

Now this is fun, trying to synchronize my flash with the yucca stalks I see coming our way.

It has been too long since I went questing for orbs, but with a friend in town we treated ourselves to a flash adventure on the town.

Orbs On the Other Side of Town

Standard

Margo looks for orbs

One of my orb enthusiasts asked me to go on a quest for orbs tonight. Margo didn’t think she was having much luck on her own and wasn’t sure that any lived in her neighborhood.  Here she is  looking for that orb who is looking at her.

Orbs2

When I don’t seem to be having any luck finding orbs among the trees, I can usually find them in one of their favorite hangouts: the power lines.

Margo now realizes there are plenty of orbs in her neighborhood.

Of course orbs would be attracted to the joys of the children’s playground.

Silent Orbs in the Night

Standard

blizzard Orbs photo by Cheyenne MacMasters

I found this photo after posting the series of blizzard orbs a couple of posts ago. It is such a pretty scene, that I want to share it with you even though it is not snowing tonight.

Below are the orbs which are sailing overhead this evening:

It is after midnight in the sleeping town of Bisbee, Arizona. Little do the residents realize who is gliding silently through the night.

For those of us not particularly gifted at seeing emanations of spiritual beings, a camera’s flash will bring them to light.

Have you checked out your roof top lately to see who is flying overhead?

Orbs Gather for Full Moon

Standard

PinkOrb photo by Cheyenne MacMasters

The full moon often draws us into the night to photograph the sky. I found this lovely pink orb while out with the moon a couple of nights ago.

movement orb photographed by Cheyenne MacMasters

The moon is the bright light cradled in the trees. I thought you might enjoy the movement of the orb across from the moon, and the way the pinkish orb is perched on the tree in the center.

Last night the moon was slower to rise, but the orbs were waiting patiently.

In fact, I want you to realize just how dense our sky can be with flying orbs.

I’m experimenting with different densities of brightness and contrast to reveal the orbs.

Practically a blizzard of orbs grace our skies.

I encourage you all to seek the orbs outside your doors in the night. It’s just a pretty sight to discover who floats through your neighborhood.

Night and Day Snow Orbs

Standard

Orbs photo by Cheyenne MacMasters

We were on blizzard alert yesterday in Bisbee, Arizona. Schools took the day off and county offices closed early before we went to white out conditions in the afternoon. The early evening brought a bit of clear sky except for an occasional orb floating through.

orbs photo by Cheyenne MacMasters

I especially like the tiny blue orb perched above the wire fence we put up to keep the dog out of cat territory.

orbs photo by Cheyenne MacMasters

Later in the evening the snow returned, much to the interest of the orbs who mingled with the snowflakes. Takes a practiced eye to distinguish orbs from snow. The orbs are more translucent and in my neighborhood are often shaped like tear drops.

Snow day in Bisbee

Standard

snow day Cheyenne MacMasters

We are having a snow morning here in Bisbee, Arizona. Offices are opening a few hours later, basically because no one trusts the other person to know how to drive on snow-covered ice.

I thought I’d let you take a look at my neighborhood in daylight. Perched above this cement garage is one of the agave stalks where orbs hover.

The “Old Bisbee” section of town is so steep the post office won’t deliver mail to our houses. The benefit is that the post office is a neighborhood meeting place, giving us endless opportunities to greet each other and exchange pleasantries. It’s why we’re all so gosh darn friendly!
