Orbs on the Eve of a New Year

New Year Eve Orbs

Bisbee, Arizona celebrated the last day of 2012 with 9 to 10 inches of snow. It began melting off the rooftops fairly soon into the morning, but by evening there was still snow on the ground. However, it wasn’t snowing during the night before the New Year, those are orbs sailing above the hillside.

It is interesting to see how just a few moments can make a difference in the number of orbs in the sky. Especially when you see the third picture in this series:

New Years Eve cloud orbs

This is one of those odd “cloud” formations that I have come to associate with the orb photos that Naturesnippets guests on this blog. I never photographed one before this photo. I immediately took another picture:

We are talking seconds apart between the third and fourth picture, and went from thick “cloud” to one pale orb… Several photos later were the same stark black night. I even tried exhaling to see if that had been a factor in the cloudiness, but no, not even a mist.

So, I gave up questing for “clouds” and went back to looking for orbs. I’ve always liked this oak tree, but rarely find as many orbs as it had last night. An interesting start on the eve of a new year.

Happy New Year everyone!

  1. Yes, such an interesting start on the eve of New Year. I find the orbs around the oak very amazing. Thanks for the New Year wishes, dear friend.

  2. Maybe my “clouds” sent some your way. They sure are exciting. I don’t have any intentions when taking orb pictures. I took a few pictures last night and didn’t have very many. Did have one small cloud. I had the impression last night that the ones I caught in pictures were ones that might stay in my yard. I”m thinking the clouds like you and I have caught with no obvious orbs in them have to be a spirit of some kind.
