Orbs Hover for Sound Therapy

Standard

This post is dedicated to Wanda of Ale Ksiaski/And Yet the Books: http://wandamichalakdomkuncewiczow.wordpress.com/ who was interested in doing an experiment with sound and orbs. Coincidentally, when I already had this post in its draft stage, she nominated me for Blog of the Year 2012 and Very Inspiring Blogger Award! Did I say coincidence? Actually, I could feel her well wishes yesterday when I was thinking of what to post. . .

And so, we await with the orbs who have gathered at the Bisbee Royale in anticipation of the sound therapist.

Orbs wait for tuning forks

Lisa Stone sound therapist

Lisa Stone has brought her tuning forks and Kim has agreed to a session so that we can see how the orbs will respond to heavenly sounds. Notice the yellow orb.

Third eye orbs

Interesting how the orb has centered upon Lisa’s third eye as she concentrates. The tuning forks are paired in perfect fifths, a known healing combination.

Orb and heart chakra

These next few photographs I took from the balcony of the Bisbee Royale so that the flash wouldn’t disturb the sound therapist and her client. It looks as if this orb centers upon the throat chakra.

I like how the orbs mirror each other at the crown chakras.

Lisa is using the tuning forks and sound therapy system developed by Arden Wilken of Inner Sound. You can explore her website at: http://www.ardenwilken.com/ I highly recommend her as a teacher and musician, and those of you on the European side of the Atlantic can also attend the workshops she teaches there.

large orb sound therapy

This large orb is the reason I photograph far away from the subject, in this case a balcony view. If I were any closer, I would have missed recording it in my camera.

orbs sail above tuning forks

Again, we would have missed seeing these orbs if I had been any closer to Lisa and her next client, Dave.

Everyone is very intent upon listening, even the orb.

orbs love tuning forks

Notice the yellow orb to the right of Lisa and her client, Gordon, it has been in several of these pictures, including the ones not posted.

And finally, the orb could stand it no longer and had to get right down upon Lisa’s hand to get a better listening advantage.

Thank you very much to Lisa Stone, for once again volunteering for a project of mine. She has always been a good sport about my enthusiasms! And, thank you to Kim, Dave, and Gordon for volunteering to be photographed while listening to the exquisite tones of the Arden Wilken tuning forks.

I would also like to extend my appreciation to the folks of the Bisbee Royale, who turned off the movie and music while we did our sound experiment and tiptoed around telling people, “They are photographing the orbs” as if that were the most natural thing to be happening in the early evening while people gathered after work.

In another post, I will be following up with the responsibilities of passing the baton of awards to those who have inspired me. Thank you, Wanda!

About orbphotog

Born in the West, I studied photography and painting at the School of Visual Arts in New York City before being drawn back home to the open skies of western living. My camera is always close at hand to capture changing light and to record what catches my eye. However, it is my recent discovery of being able to see orbs through the medium of digital photography that has sparked my passion for photographing the night. All photographs in this blog are copyrighted by me. Occasional photos by guests are copyrighted by the photographer. Please contact if you would like to order prints.
